Crochet Triangle Granny Shawl WRITTEN PATTERN
USA STITCH TERMS
You can use any yarn and hook you would like, below is what I used for my scarf.
Yarn: Worsted Weight (Caron Simply Soft)
Hook Size(s): 6mm
Abbreviations:
โข Ch = Chain
โข DC = Double Crochet
โข St = Stitch
[ ] Place any stitches inside these brackets all in the same space/ stitch
Foundation: Magic Ring OR ch5, join with ss to make a circle.
Row 1: Ch4 (counts as 1DC, Ch1)
3DC, Ch3, 3DC, Ch1, 1DC.
Turn.
Row 2: Ch4 (counts as 1DC, Ch1)
3DC into the Ch1 sp between the DC and 3DC from row below,
Ch1 [3DC, Ch3, 3DC] into Ch3 sp
Ch1, 3DC, Ch1, ending on 1DC into 3rd Ch of Ch4 turning chain from row below.
Row 3: ch4 (counts as 1DC, Ch1)
3DC into Ch1 sp,
Ch1, 3DC into next sp,
Ch1, [3DC, Ch3, 3DC] in Ch3 sp,
Ch1, 3DC in next sp,
Ch1, 3DC, Ch1, ending on 1DC.
Repeat Row 3 until the shawl is desired size.
Tie off, and weave in all loose ends.
