WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

Abbreviations:

·       Ch = Chain

·       SC = Single crochet

·       DC = Double crochet

·       Rep = Repeat

·       MB-st = Mini bean stitch

·       St = Stitch

·       YO = Yarn Over

Special Stitches = Mini Bean Stitch: Insert hook in st, YO, pull through, YO, insert hook in st, YO, pull through, YO, pull through all 4 loops on the hook, and ch 1.

Foundation Row: Ch multiples of 2 until you get the desired width plus 1 for turning.

Row 1: Starting in the third ch from the hook, rep *1 MB-st, skip 1 st* across.

Row 2: Ch 1 and turn. Make 1 MB-st in the side of each MB-st of the previous row. To determine the side, you will see that there is the ch 1 that you do to secure the bean and a ch before that. Work the MB-st into that space.

Rows 3-onward: Rep row 2 for as long as you’d like your project to be. There should be the same number of MB-st in each row.
