Crochet ALTERNATIVE V Stitch [Free Video Tutorial & Written Pattern!]

Crochet ALTERNATIVE V Stitch WRITTEN PATTERN

USA STITCH TERMS

You can use any yarn and hook you would like.

Hook Size(s): according to your yarn

I used Papatya Super Stitch with a 5.5mm Hook.

Abbreviations:

Ch = Chain

DC = Double Crochet

SC = Single Crochet

St = Stitch

Pattern Multiples is 3 plus 2.

Foundation: Chain until you reach the width you desire. In my sample I am Ch 20. (Be sure your total chain count is divisible by 3 then add 2.)

DC in the 4th ch from hook.

ch 1, DC2TG starting in the same ch you placed your first DC. Sk 1 ch. Finish DC2TG in the next ch.

* ch 1, DC2TG starting in the same ch you placed last dc2tg. Sk 1 ch. Finish DC2TG in the next ch. **

Repeat * * until end of row.

Row 2: Turn- ch 2 (counts as first half of DC2TG), DC into first ch 1 sp.

** ch 1, DC2TG starting the same ch 1 sp, finish DC2TG in next ch 1 sp. **

Repeat * * until end of row. Complete last DC2TG starting in the last ch 1 sp, and finishing at the top of your ch 2.

Keep repeating Row 2 until you reach the length you desire.

Tie off, and weave in all loose ends.
