Everybody needs a chubby rainbow jelly friend!

Here is a nice, simple and easy amigurumi crochet pattern for you :D

USA / American Terms 

Eyes: 10mm

Hook size: 4mm

Yarn: James Brett Party Time or any CHUNKY yarn

Repeat pattern between the asterisks * …….. *·

Stitch count at end of row in brackets [ ]

Stitches / abbreviations used:

MR = Magic Ring

Ch = Chain

Sc = Single Crochet

Inc = Increase 2sc in same stitch

Dec = Invisible Decrease in front loops only – please see video

BLO = Back Loops only

OK so lets begin! DO NOT JOIN AT THE ENDS OF EACH ROW. This pattern is worked in a continuous spiral

Jellyfish body

Into a MR, 6sc [6] or substitute for chain 2, 6sc into 2nd ch from hook

*Inc* x 6 [12]

*1sc, inc* x 6 [18]

*2sc, inc* x 6 [24]

*3sc, inc* x 6 [30]

*4sc, inc* x 6 [36]

*sc* in each stitch around [36]

*sc* in each stitch around [36]

*sc* in each stitch around [36]

*sc* BLO in each stitch around [36]

Add eyes – 6 stitches apart – see video for placement

*4sc, dec* x 6 [30]

*3sc, dec* x 6 [24]

*2sc, dec* x 6 [18]

Stuff lightly and add mouth – please see video for placement

*1sc, dec* x 6 [12]

*dec* x 6 [6]

Leave long tail, weave tail around the outside loops of last 6 stitches and pull together

Tendrils – make 3

Leave long tail, make slip knot, chain 45 – cut yarn leaving long tail
